Microtek is an engineering and R&D company specializing in miniaturization for advanced microelectronics products.
We are structured to provide a blend of microelectronics solutions for our clients at the R&D and prototype stage and offer support through to full scale production. We focus on creating novel and individual solutions and assisting in the creation of intellectual property (IP) to improve human health.
We work at the bare chip level while integrating microelectronics, bioscience or therapeutics to develop highly miniaturized applications.
We collaborate with startups, top-tier companies and universities in a wide range of markets including medical, defense, wireless, photonics and life sciences.
Microtek provides the technical bridge from R&D through to full scale production to deliver high quality products with a focus on risk mitigation and shortening the development cycle.
With its alliance of partners, Microtek offers a full range of design, engineering, and manufacturing solutions. Our turnkey product development services provide our clients an unsurpassed capability of developing and manufacturing highly innovative microelectronics products on budget and on schedule.
With our collaborative approach, expertise and first class project management, we offer our clients:
Engineering creativity to solve unique design challenges

The advent of microelectronic technology has vastly impacted the field of medical research and development of medical devices and therapeutics. Miniaturization of electronics allows accurate dosing, sampling, sensing or visualization of different parts of the body that are not normally readily accessible, to optimize diagnostic or therapeutic impact. Currently, Microtek is focused on development and commercialization efforts for proprietary technologies, including the GI μCapsule technologies and the μIT Device.
In conjunction with the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus, Microtek is also developing targeted therapeutics. We use state-of-the-art equipment and procedures to discover new chemical entities (NCEs) or new biological entities (NBEs) with therapeutic potential, for integration into our microelectronic technologies.
